Terms and conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • The full rental amount must be paid at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.

  • Payment is non-transferable and secures the dates selected by the guest.

2. Security Deposit

  • A security deposit of USD $300 is required and will be collected prior to check-in.

  • The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out, provided no damage is found and no rules have been violated.

  • In case of damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required, the cost will be deducted from the deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, the guest will be held financially responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacements.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before check-in: Full refund minus a 5% administrative fee.

  • Cancellation between 30 days and 7 days before check-in: 75% refund of the total booking amount.

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in: No refund will be issued.

  • No refunds will be given for early departures or no-shows.

4. Force Majeure / Natural Events

  • The owner is not liable for cancellations, interruptions, or inconveniences caused by natural disasters, hurricanes, tropical storms, Sargassum, or other acts of nature.

  • Sargassum (seaweed) presence on beaches is a natural and seasonal occurrence and cannot be used as a reason for a refund.

5. Property Use and Damage

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.

  • Any damage or loss will be assessed and deducted from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit, the guest will be invoiced for the remaining amount.

6. Guest Responsibilities

  • The apartment is for private use only and must be used respectfully.

  • No parties, events, or unauthorized guests are allowed.

  • Guests must comply with local laws and condominium rules.

7. Liability

  • The owner is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or using its facilities.

  • The owner is not liable for loss of personal belongings or valuables.

8. Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking the apartment, guests agree to all terms and conditions stated above.
